A unique Sauvignon Blanc for Proyecto Hermanas
The wines of Proyecto Hermanas are made with grapes that come mostly from the Uco Valley. In the case of Proyecto Hermanas Sauvignon Blanc 2021, the grapes are from Tupungato and were harvested in mid-March, within the framework of a vintage that was characterized by being fresher than others, especially during the months of January and February.
The diversity in the tastes of the sisters is what drives and motivates this range. Sofía prefers white wines, while Lucila leans towards reds, sometimes venturing into varieties little explored by the family, such as Pinot Noir.
“This project was born as a way to work closer together with Lucila and to give life to wines that were a reflection of us, but also of what makes us so different. I really enjoy whites and this Sauvignon Blanc excites me because it shows the potential that the Argentine terroir has for this type of varietal. It is a white that is ready to be enjoyed now, but that also augurs a great aging potential ”, explained Sofía Pescarmona, co-owner of the winery.
Proyecto Hermanas Sauvignon Blanc 2021 has delicate aromas of passion fruit and citrus fruits, such as grapefruit, as well as some herbaceous notes. In the mouth it is unctuous, but at the same time it has a defined and vibrant acidity, which leaves an unforgettable sensation of freshness. It is an ideal wine to accompany dishes such as grilled fish or a sushi.
