Happy Harvest 2018!

A few days ago, we welcomed a group of 40 clients and friends from around the world to show them our vineyards and our wines with all the warmth and hospitality that characterizes the Lagarde family. We shared tree unforgettable days with visitors from China, United States, Bolivia, Panama, Ecuador, Colombia, Mexico, France, Uruguay, Brazil and other parts of Argentina.

The scheduled activities started on Friday with a wine tasting guided by Sofia and Lucila Pescarmona and our winemaker Juan Roby. Surrounded by walnut trees, under a starry night and dim lights, we acknowledged the present of Lagarde through a series of ten wines that perfectly reflect the work we do day by day, the passion we have for the terroir and the love we feel for our land.

As night fell upon us, the guests were able to taste different labels and discover some jewels from our old vintages, revel in some sparkling wines and learn more about the future projects of the winery. That first day ended with a delicious dinner set in the middle of our hundred year old vineyards.

The next day, the entire group set off for Rancho e Cuero, located in the middle of the Andes Mountains, at tree thousand meters high. In that magical surrounding, we spent and amazing Saturday that included horseback riding, a superb barbecue and, of course, more great wines. As usual, the hospitality of the owners of the state, the Palma family, was noticeable.

This amazing weekend reached its end with a trip to our own estate: La Jacintana, located in Perdriel, were guests had fun harvesting and creating wine for themselves.

Later that same day, we traveled the world thanks to a tasting led by Enrique Pescarmona himself, which included wines from Germany, France and Italy. Moreover, everyone was able to discover the rich history of Lagarde through a special selection of some of our best vintages.

Finally, we all said goodbye enjoying a marvelous lunch in our gardens paired with our legendary Semillon 1942 and admiring the incredible view we had of of the Andes.

We thank everyone for letting us welcome you into our home, ¡cheers!

Sofia and Lucila Pescarmona.
