Today GUARDA Colección de Viñedos (Vineyard Collection) is a high end wine line with a small production, as a result of long periods of investigation and examination of the best terroirs within our estates. Each wine is an accurate reflection of a special vineyard located in a micro region of Cuyo, a region selected due to its quality features.

GUARDA MALBEC DOC- Finca Drummond
This vine dates from 1906 and is located in Mayor Drummond, Luján de Cuyo, a well-known region for this variety. Its silt loam soil with round stone depth together with the warm weather with cool nights make this vineyard the ideal place to produce this extravagant Malbec of great expression and quality. 100% of this wine is aged in French oak barrels 12 months and then bottle aged for other 12 months in a controlled environment before it is launched.

GUARDA CABERNET FRANC- Finca La Jacintana
It comes from our estate La Jacintana in Perdriel. This plot was specially selected considering its cool region and stony soil. Grapes are fully ripe, keeping the fruit freshness, which eventually results in an elegant wine with personality. It is an accurate reflection of its terroir. 100% of this wine is aged in French oak barrels 12 months and then bottle aged for other 12 months in a controlled environment before it is launched.

GUARDA CABERNET SAUVIGNON - Finca La Jacintana
It comes from our estate La Jacintana in Perdriel, a historic region for the best Cabernet Sauvignon from Mendoza. The great temperature range together with the alluvial soils with good drainage, layers of silt, clay and round stones with lime soil depth result in an elegant and fresh wine, expressing the best of the vineyard. 100% of this wine is aged in French oak barrels 12 months and then bottle aged for other 12 months in a controlled environment before it is launched.

GUARDA BLEND -  Finca La Jacintana, Finca Drummond, Finca Las Bateas
Guarda Blend is a blend 40% Malbec, 30% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Merlot and 10% Syrah. Its grapes come from own vineyards located in Drummond, Perdriel and Agrelo. We have achieved a harmonious blend with grapes from the best regions for each variety. 100% of this wine is aged in French oak barrels 12 months and then bottle aged for other 12 months in a controlled environment before it is launched.

GUARDA CHARDONNAY - Finca Aguas Verdes
Its high-altitude vine, in Gualtallary (Tupungato), is located near The Andes Mountains at 1350 masl. This region has a wide temperature range with cool breeze and lime soil. The fruit expression and minerality are expressively developed in this wine, achieving outstanding freshness and typicity. 60% of the wine is aged during 10 months in French oak barrels.
