Fogon, Vineyard Restaurant
Lagarde Winery would like to share the opening of our new restaurant Fogon, and renovated visitor´s center. After a year of renovations under the supervision of Sofia Pescarmona, we are open to the local and international public to show the best of Mendoza and showcase our the excellence of our wines.
We are extremely happy to work every day towards providing our guests with an unforgettable and genuine experience of what we believe is the Mendoza lifestyle, food and wines. Fogon, a vineyard restaurant is surrounded by one of our oldest vineyards in a natural and magical environment where our guests can enjoy the warmth of our staff, the greatness of our wines and the pairing with fresh and local cuisine.
Our cusine is based in using diverse local technics with fire- chapa, rescoldo, parrilla and ovens- with local ingredients. The vast majority of the produce used in the seasonal menu come from our organic vegetable garden. We strive to make local recipes with an inspiration on our Italian roots true to our farm to table inspiration.
Our team of Chefs prepares each meal in our open kitchen, allowing our visitors to view the process. Every season we design a four course meal ideally paired by our winemaker Juan Roby with our wines and best vintages.
During Spring, Summer and Fall seasons, guests can enjoy the wonderful lunch seated outside in the middle of our vines and under a 60 year old fig tree.
