Today, Lagarde is present in 15 states, Texas representing one of the winery's most important markets. The southern state is, without a doubt, one of the most representative in terms of wine consumption. This is due not only to its very high level of consumption per capita but also to the fact that it has huge cities and is the country's second largest and most populated state. Of course, gastronomy also deserves special mention, with a great diversity of Tex-Mex and barbecue dishes standing out. Here's a list of a number of steakhouses and bistró restaurants located in three popular cities which offer Lagarde wines.

AUSTIN. Austin, the capital of Texas, undergoes continuous growth and boasts great cultural diversity. It is known as Texas's capital of barbecue, and steakhouses abound around the city. It is full of chefs who are permanently opening new gastronomic places all around. There are also options for the most demanding consumers who will have the chance to enjoy exceptional wines from varied wine lists, where wines from Mendoza are highly regarded. The popular food-trucks with their various options also deserve special mention. However, we highly recommend going to our favorite steakhouses and bistró restaurants, where you can taste our Lagarde Malbec (by the bottle or glass): 

Buenos Aires Café, Hillside Farmacy, House Wine, G Raj Mahal, Hotel 11, Ruth Chris Steak House. The latter is considered as one of the best restaurants in town, with our Primeras Vinas Malbec wine being one of the favorites.

HOUSTON. Houston is not only Texas's largest city but it also boasts the largest selection of restaurants. Besides the famous restaurants specializing in charcoal-cooked meats and Tex-Mex dishes, there is a large variety of food and wine choices. Best places in town: Bayou Place, The Galleria shopping center, and a huge number of places which offer Asian, French, Italian and Latin American food as well as American contemporary food, fusion cuisine, seafood and a large variety of beef cuts. But, if you’d like to taste our whites and reds, we strongly recommend: Houston Killen's Steakhouse; III Forks Steakhouse; and Sal & Pimienta. Sal & Pimienta is located in a very attractive area (Citycentre) offering a great variety of Argentine dishes, and it has recently included Largarde wines on its large wine list.

DALLAS. Dallas has one of the world's busiest airports (DFW), where the Grand Met restaurant at the Grand Hyatt Dallas Fort Worth offers our Lagarde Guarda Malbec DOC among its best selection of wines. With an innovative style, this restaurant offers its guests the possibility of choosing their wines through tablets and the advice of highly qualified sommeliers. Its specially crafted dishes offer sophistication and a very interesting gastronomic experience. The Capital Grille at the Crescent Hotel is another well-known steakhouse, with Lagarde present on its wine list.
