Don Alberto Baggio today 83 years old, started working at Lagarde over 54 years ago. He has dedicated his life to the vines and there is no other viticultor in the area as knowleadgable and hard working as he is. It was time for Don Baggio to retire and we did not want to say farwell without a proper tribute to him. It is bittersweet for all of us who remain at Lagarde and wont be greeted by him every morning. We thank him for his dedication, passion, example and love for our vineyards, wines and winery. 

The Lagarde family wishes him the best in this new phase in life and our vines will certainly miss his cares.
