We are excited to announce our newest White wine, our Semillon 2015! At Lagarde we have been pioneers and one of the few argentine wineries trying to re launch this classsical variety. Having one of the oldest vines of this grape planted in 1906 we are excited to launch a new vintage of one of the oldest grapes that shaped the Argentine wine industry at the beginning of the century.

Due to the level of maturity needed to make this wine we had not been able to make it in past years. It is difficult to aquire the perfect level of maturation because it is very sensible to pests due to its fragile skin. It is typicaly a variety with low acidity that implies a very careful selection at the time of harvesting it. Our vineyard is located in our Drummond location of Lujan de Cuyo.

Luckily the 2015 vintage allowed us to make this wonderful wine which was already awarded 91 points by Master of Wines Tim Atkin.

 If you visit us at our Restaurant Fogon, this wine is the first paired wine to our five course menú.
